The Third Generation F-body needs all the help it can get with chassis reinforcement. Commonly known as one of the most flexible and "loosest" chassis ever produced BMR Fabrication made sure that their subframe connectors were up to the task. As with most of their subframe connectors, they reinforce the rear control arm mounts with HD 3/16" plate and use rectangular tubing to join three areas: the rocker pinch welds, rear control arm boxes and front subframes. This ties in the entire floorpan of the car by joining key structural components, minimizing chassis flex and improving handling.
BMR's part number SFC008 is designed for cars with full length headers and exhaust systems that run inside the frame rails.
